The Boise County Guide is a family owned small business, started in 1997 by Ben and Jan Fowler as "The Garden Valley Guide." The format and focus changed in 2015, broadening the coverage from just the Garden Valley area to the entire County. Ben continues to work in partnership with his son Mike running the operations and publishing a new edition bi-monthly.
